The Prathiba M. Singh Scholarship has been instituted, under the family Trust, with
the University of Cambridge for LL.M. aspirants from India.
Background of the Trust
The Prathiba M. Singh Cambridge LL.M. Scholarship was set up as an initiative of the Sardar Manmohan Singh Charitable Trust named after Mr. Maninder Singh’s father. It is with a view to continue his legacy of always helping ones in need that the Trust has been formed in his name by his family. The purpose of this Scholarship is not only to encourage meritorious students to study at the University of Cambridge, but more so to enable them to study when a scholarship is the only means of completing their Masters in Law. One of the factors considered for award of the scholarship is the candidate’s inclination to return to India and contribute in law, academics, policy etc.
